Day 1: Transfer
A member of our team will welcome you at the hall of the international airport in Antananarivo. Please look out for a sign with your name after you exit from the restricted area with your luggage. Our guide will take you to your private vehicle for transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Antananarivo for Bed and Breakfast.
Day 2 From Antananarivo to Andasibe
You start the journey to the East. Go along the National Road Number 02, the main commercial road of the country. The ride will take 3 hours and a half (150km). It is a great opportunity to see the sights and discover the Malagasy lifestyl
e and architecture on the along the way. You visit The Peyreras farm before getting to Andasibe.
This private reserve is renowned for its reptile. It was founded by the French entomologist and naturalist André Peyreras. The collection includes many reptile species (chameleons, geckos and frogs….), and lemur species.
Nightwalk to Andasibe: The driver and the guide will accompany you for the nightwalk from 6.00pm to see chameleons and others nocturnal lemur species, like Mouse lemurs.

Day 3: Analamazaotra special reserve
Visit Analamazaotra park, a fantastic place for lemur watching. Leave the hotel at 7.30 a.m. Analamazaotra is home to Indri Indri, the largest lemur species or “Babakoto”. Then, hike for 3 or 4 hours to discover other lemur species such as Sifaka, brown lemurs and watch birds. After lunch, continue the trek to Lemur Island. This is a fascinating opportunity to get close and interact with lemurs. After that, drive back to the lodge. Overnight for Bed and Breakfast.
Day 4 Andasibe –Toamasina (Tamatave)Approx 240 km
After breakfast, continue the journey along the National Road N°02 to Toamasina. This road is home to the traveler’s tree or “Ravenala”. The sight is breathtaking with its lush green landscape and rainforest. It is also the best opportunity to shop for fresh tropical fruits like corossol, bananas, jackfruit, and other.
Overnight at the local hotel for Bed and Breakfast.
Day 5: Toamasina –Mahambo –Saint Marie Island
After breakfast, travel to Mahambo and take a ferryboat to Saint Marie Island. Enjoy sailing on the boat and sightseeing.
Overnight in Saint Marie Island for Bed and Breakfast.
Day 6: Saint Marie Island
Saint Marie Island is famous for its breathtaking landscape and it is the best place for whale watching. The best time to see whales is from June to September when megaptera whales come to Madagascar to reproduce. The adventure is organized by your local hotel. Moreover, Saint Marie is among the best place for snorkeling and diving.
Overnight for Bed and Breakfast.
Day 7: Saint Marie Island
Spend a day at Saint Marie’s wonderful beaches. Enjoy swimming in the warm water and sunbathing at the white sandy beaches. It is an excellent spot for romantic adventure or to spend a family holiday vacation.
Day 8 Saint Marie Island
Enjoy more time at the beach to snorkel and see aquatic life, or just to relax. Eat seafood and exotic fruits. The cool breeze with the warm sunny weather will make your stay in this picturesque island amazing.
Day 9 Saint Marie –Antananarivo
After spending a few peaceful days in Saint Marie Island, fly back to Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar.
Our guide will pick you up at the TNR airport and take you to your hotel.
Day 10 Antananarivo
Take a tour of the city before you fly back to your home country.
