Day 01 transfer

A member of our team welcome you and bring you to your hotel ,he will give the written program and some information you should need.

Day 02 IFATY

The driver will pick you up and drive you to the airport to flight to the South of the country .On your arrival another driver will pick you up and drive you to you lodge and you can start for the activities to visit the spiny forest to discover the fauna and the flora of the area .

Day 03 IFATY

After breakfast let’s discover the spiny forest in the morning the nature awake to see some species of birds include the Long Tailed Ground Roller, Archblod’s Newtonia, Sub- Desert Mesite some reptile species and lemurs .This place is very good also for snorkeling to see the natural aquarium. Free leisure afternoon and overnight to the same lodge on BB

Day 04 IFATY-RANOHIRA

We leave the coast and drive to the Northern  to join Isalo National park .On the way we can see some baobab .We will stop to Zombitse Nation park ,this deciduous dry forest attract people for his strange adaptation between the dry forest and the humid forest  .The number of the animals species living here is remarkable .08 species of lemurs such as  the Verreauxi Sifaka ,Red –fronted brown lemur  and  some  85 birds species include the rare birds as Appert’s Tetraka , Giant Couas,Cuckoo Roller …

After the visit we continue our way to Ranohira passing through the rush village of sapphire called Ilakaka .

Day 05 VISIT  ISALO NP

With our local guide we choose carefully for you ,you’ll hike to discover the lunar landscape .You will impress by the oasis , canyon and fall .This environment was created during the Jurassic period and the vegetation adapt this the circumstance as the Pachypodium Rosulatum .This place also is the native habitat for the rare bird called Forest Rock Thrush (pseudocossyphus bensoni).We can find also some species of lemur as Ring Tailed Lemur(Lemur Catta)and White Fronted Brown lemurs .After the hike drive back  to the lodge .

Day 06 RANOHIRA-RANOMAFAMANA

Today we drive to the rain forest of Ranomafana .On the way we going to stop for the visit of Anja community run reserve to see some family of Ring Tailed lemur. To Ambalavao we stop to visit the handmadepaper factory we can learn the process to produce Antaimoro paper .The process is introduced by the Arabic people long time ago but they still keep the same way till now day .This place is famous also for winery Overnight to the lodge

Day 07 VISIT OF RANOMAFANA

Today with the local guide you will discover the rain forest of Ranomafana .This park is located in the southeastern of the country  with 41 600 hectares ,the home of several rare species of the flora and fauna  Various scientist publications have been  published about this park.Several species of birds can be seen including the Pitta Like Ground Roller ,Scaly Ground Roller and some Other species of Vanga birds can be seen .Highlight of this visit is  lemurs as The Golden Bamboo Lemur ,Milne Edward’s Sifaka common brown Lemur  … In the evening we ‘ll go for a night walk to spot the smallest primate species called Mouse Lemur  and some varieties of chameleons .

Close by the park research station called ValBio established in 2003managed by Stony Brook University .This center help the local people for health and education.

Day 08 RANOMAFANA  -ANTSIRABE

After the breakfast to the lodge We come back to the famous road RN 7 and drive to the North to join highland .We ‘ll see the terraced rice paddies  scenery Passing by the capital of the woodcarving handcraft .where we have to spot to visit some work shop of wood carver .Over night to the lodge .

Day 09 ANTSIRABE  -ANDASIBE

Before we leave Antsirabe we should have  a short visit of this city of the Moroccan King Mohamed V  was exiled  in 1955 .A quick stop to visit the handcraft of zebu horn to make jewelry , spoons and other thing else .After the visit drive to Andasibe national park will  give you the Malagasy highland scenery mountains typical villages ,locals working field

Visit to Pyereras reptile farm to see some collection species of chameleons and geckos.Founded by the French entomologist and naturalist André Peyreras. The collection includes Flat tailed geckos, Golden Mantela and Parsons Chameleon is the largest Chameleon ….Overnight to the lodge

Day 10 VISIT ANDASIBE NP

We will visit the Analamazaotra ,in order to have the best observation conditions we leave to the hotel at 7.30 am We look for the largest species of lemur called Indri Indri or the Malagasy name is Babakoto .This lemur is endemic to the site and made his emblem .Through an easy hike lasting about 3 hours  we search for other species of lemurs as Sifaka and common brown lemur and also birds …

After lunch we continue to the lemur Vakona Island this is a rare opportunity to get up close and interact with these primates. After the visit drive back to the lodge

Day 11 ANDASIBE MANAMBATO

After breakfast d to the Eastern part of the country to join the lac of RAVELOBE where the boat will wait for us for the transfer to Ankany ny Nofy (The nest of dream)through the artificial channel dinged by the Malagasy people during the colonial period  . Ankany  ny Nofy is located between the Indian Ocean and  the Pangalane Channel .The ferry will take us 01 hour 30 min .Free leisure in the afternoon and after we  will go for night visit to see the nocturnal and exclusive Aye Aye or  Daubentonia  Madagascariensis  .

This kind of lemur was hunting by the local people for meat and caused by believe because It’s considered as the evil.

Day 12 VISIT PALMARIUM RESERVE

After the breakfast we reach to the jungle to discover other kind of lemurs. Through an easy hike lasting about 2 to 3 hours   It’s really a nice place for a walk specially to see the Indri –Indri more darker , Macaco lemurs, Black and white  Ruffed  lemur  and  the famous carnivorous plant endemic  to the country called Nepenthes .Free leisure in the afternoon .

Day 13 ANKANY NY NOFY-ANDASIBE

After the breakfast we  take the boat to turn back to Manambato then drive back to Andasibe  ,On the way back we can have several opportunities to take photos of the local lifestyle

Day 14 ANDASIBE ANTANANARIVO Transfer

Today we drive back to Antananarivo we leave the region of Andasibe and begin our ascent towards the highland. You will arrive in Antananarivo after 150km journey .If the while allow we drive to the souvenir market then transfer to the airport
